Com pot contribuir la farmacologia a la millora clínica d’alguns dels problemes sexuals que existeixen? Per altra banda, quines són les repercussions sobre la funció sexual que comporta l’ús de fàrmacs per al tractament d’un altre tipus de malalties? Professionals de l’àmbit de la investigació de la farmacologia sexual es van citar en un simposi internacional organitzat per la Fundació Dr. Antoni Esteve per tal d’aportar els seus estudis realitzats tant en animals com en éssers humans. Els treballs presentats durant aquest simposi es troben recopilats en aquest volum número 6 de la sèrie Esteve Foundation Symposia, editada per Elsevier.
