¿Cómo puede la farmacología contribuir en la mejora clínica de algunos problemas sexuales existentes? Por otro lado, ¿cuáles son las repercusiones sobre la función sexual como consecuencia del empleo de fármacos para el tratamiento de otro tipo de enfermedades? Profesionales del ámbito de la investigación de la farmacología sexual se dieron cita en un simposio internacional organizado por la Fundación Dr. Antonio Esteve para aportar sus estudios realizados tanto en animales como en seres humanos. Los trabajos presentados durante este simposio se encuentran recopilados en este volumen número 6 de la serie Esteve Foundation Symposia, editada por Elsevier.
